Our short term vision is to advance the current practice of blood analysis during drug discovery and development through commercialization of the PaperSpray Ion Source.  PaperSpray is the latest leading-edge Ambient Ionization technology developed by Purdue University which eliminates the need for sample preparation.

QuantIon’s long term vision is the commercialization of a Point of Care Therapeutic Drug Monitoring Device (POC-TDM) to rapidly establish a patient’s therapeutic drug level, thus enabling clinicians to personalize and optimize the administration of drugs.

Through support from the Life Sciences Institute for Biomedical Development at Purdue University, Inc. (LSIPurdue) and Purdue University's Center for Analytical Instrument Development (CAID), the PaperSpray Ion Source has been successfully developed (video).
